Mukilteo Home

This residence was completely destroyed by fire. An architect was hired and a complete remodel was designed. The new home was built on the existing foundation. An entire 3rd floor was added which achieved a view of the Puget Sound for the homeowners. Because the home is situated on a corner lot, the new design allowed us to relocate the garage and driveway to a much quieter street on the other side of the lot. Five separate exterior decks were also incorporated into the new design.

Shoreline Home

A fire severely damaged this 3,117 sq ft Colonial style Shoreline, WA residence which was originally built by family members. The home contains many memories of raising a large family and held great sentimental value for the owners.

The fire completely destroyed the garage and structurally damaged the west wing of the house. The home also sustained substantial damage to the interior living spaces and was partially gutted. Some interior features such as the stairway and brick range backsplash were salvaged and preserved to retain their historical status. Several alterations to the floor plan were discussed and worked into the rebuild design and process; the kitchen layout was changed and the master suite was moved to the main floor. All changes were done in keeping with the historical style of the home.

Exterior finishes including siding, windows, deck and roofing were completely replaced. Some interior finishes were partially restored while most finishes completely replaced.
