The Master Bathroom of this home was outdated and some items were poorly installed originally. The room size is small, which made making changes a challenge. Our goal was to add a second lavatory, make the shower more functional and add heated floors. We accomplished all goals with perfection. The rounded glass block shower enclosure added a rich quality and is roomier inside. The new cherry wood vanity with quartz countertop also added character and was enlarged to accept the second lavatory. A narrower window unit replaced the existing one to allow more room for the larger vanity. The heated floor provided a touch of comfort. Color coordinated tile and paint finishes completed a very satisfying upgrade.

This three story 4166 S.F. home was severely damage by a fire resulting from a vehicle which ignited while parked in the carport. The existing two upper stories needed to be gutted due to the fire. The homeowner decided that this would be an opportune time for some significant remodeling they had been thinking about for a long time. The home had been in their family since the 1950's and was built by a family member. An architect was hired to evaluate the customer's desires for the home and then remodeling plans were developed and drawn for permitting. The new design included a larger kitchen and alterations of the existing rooms. Wood clad fiberglass windows and paneled wood doors enhanced the décor of the craftsman style home. The existing one car garage and carport were converted to a large two car garage. The upper floor was extended over the new garage area which significantly increased their space. Other new features included a sitting room, updated entry staircase and a redesigned master suite.

A letter of recommendation: For a complicated multi-family rehabilitation project, I think Nordic did a magnificent job. The superintendent executed design intent perfectly. Aesthetic intent was followed to the letter, including revisions and modifications. I would definitely recommend Nordic Construction Services.
